Birdies 2 Benefit

August 11, 2025

Andover Country Club

54 Holes

A group of people are standing on a golf course talking to each other.

The Birdies are back!

So are Jennifer, Joe & Darren and this year's event will be a Birdie Barrage!

Three great charity organizations will benefit from the donations and we can not wait to help raise awareness of how golf can impact and help the lives of hundreds of families, athletes and children across New England. The Holly Ridge family is thrilled to support this event again, as we have benefited so much from each of these organizations, especially the Child Life Services team at BCH!

If you are able to support the event, remember that you have the option to put a limit on your overall donation - in case we light it up and make a lot more birdies! You may also choose to make a flat, one-time donation.

Team Stats:

2024 - (40) Birdies, ($41,706) Raised, (269) Donors
2023 - (36) Birdies, ($35,716.00) Raised, (254) Donors

Please support our New England, PGA of America Professionals and help to reach the Birdies 2 Benefit fundraising goal of $300,000 to benefit Boston Children's Hospital, Special Olympics-Massachusetts and PGA REACH New England by making a financial pledge for every birdie made over 54-holes at the Andover Country Club on August 11, 2025

Meet Ryan

Ryan is the heart of this event. He’s a proud Special Olympics athlete who lights up every room with his enthusiasm.

Thanks to the support of the Special Olympics and the care he’s received from Boston Children’s Hospital, Ryan has grown into an incredible young man. These organizations have helped him build confidence, overcome challenges, and connect with a community that lifts him up.

This event is for kids like Ryan and families like ours. Your support helps provide life-changing programs and care to so many across New England. Every donation brings us closer to our goal and creates more opportunities for kids to shine.

Why are we doing this?

Message from Joe & Jen (Holly Ridge Owners)

We’re so excited to be part of Birdies 2 Benefit again this year, and this time around, it’s shaping up to be a true Birdie Barrage. Along with Darren, we’re ready to make every swing count for something bigger than ourselves.

Holly Ridge is proud to support three amazing organizations that have had a deep impact on our lives and the lives of so many in our community: Special Olympics Massachusetts, Boston Children’s Hospital, and PGA REACH New England. Our family has personally benefited from each of these groups, especially the incredible Child Life Services team at Boston Children’s, who supported us when we needed it most.

Golf brings people together in such a unique way, and this event is a powerful reminder of that. Together, we can help raise awareness and funds that support hundreds of families, athletes, and children across New England. If you're able to support the cause, you can pledge an amount for each birdie we make or simply make a one-time donation. And yes, you can always set a limit just in case we really go on a birdie run.

Message from Erica (Ryan’s Mom)

As Ryan’s mom, I can’t fully express what this event means to our family. The Special Olympics has given Ryan so much more than just a place to compete. It’s where he’s found joy, confidence, and a true sense of belonging. Watching him grow and thrive through this program has been one of the greatest gifts of our lives.

We’ve also experienced firsthand the incredible care and compassion from Boston Children’s Hospital. The support we received from their Child Life Services team made all the difference during challenging times, and we’re forever grateful.

Seeing Joe, Jen, and Darren take part in Birdies 2 Benefit year after year means so much to us. It’s not just about golf. It’s about community, heart, and helping kids like Ryan live full and happy lives.
