Holly Ridge Golf Leagues…Fun, Friendly, For Everyone!
Joining a golf league is a great way to meet new people, improve your scores, and increase your overall enjoyment of the game. All of our leagues have the same common goal…To help people have FUN playing golf. It’s a great way to meet other golfers and add some socializing to the sport. Our leagues are great for players of all abilities because we use handicaps and fun formats to even the competition.
Monday Women’s Nine & Dine League
Opening Day: April 22nd, 2013. Plays through September. Nine Holes. Tee times available from 2:30 to 6:00 pm. $25 Annual League Fee (includes $10 Annual Handicap Fee). $31 weekly fee ($28 for 2012 Holly Ridge Discount Club Card holders) includes 9 holes, prizes, and dinner. Tuesday Men’s League
Opening Day: April 9th, 2013. Tee times available 6:30 to 10:00 am. Participants in this league may play later in the day, if desired, after 3 pm, first come, first served, but must be accompanied by another member of the league. All level golfers welcome. Eighteen holes. $10 annual handicap fee. $4 weekly entry fee plus green fee. Play with your own group or if you’re a single or twosome, we’ll pair you up. Men’s Nine Hole Match Play League
This 9 hole league started last year and really took off! Suitable for all level golfers because handicaps will level the playing field. All league members will go head-to-head each week with another league member in a round-robin, match play format until all members have played each other. Once participants are signed up, matches will be assigned on a weekly basis. Players will be able to play their match anytime during the week as long as it is completed by the following week. This way, matches can be scheduled at a mutually convenient time for the players involved. League members will pay the nine hole green fee plus a $2 entry fee each for each match. Points will be accumulated for weekly prizes and end-of-season tournament seeding. Lots of FUN! Click HERE for information and registration.
Junior League
Opening Day: June 25th, 2013. Plays Tuesdays through August 27th. Boys and girls, ages 9 -16 welcome. Tee times begin at Noon. $30 annual league fee plus weekly junior green fee. Clubhouse credit given out for prizes. Please note: Juniors must have some previous playing experience. This league is NOT for juniors who do not know how to play yet. Wednesday Morning Women’s League
Opening Day: April 17th, 2013. Plays through October. Eighteen holes. Tee times after 7 am. $35 annual dues. $10 annual handicap fee. $3 weekly entry fee plus green fees. Optional $1 weekly birdie pool fee. Weekly tournaments, monthly special tournaments, and annual league championship. Clubhouse credit given out for prizes. Click HERE for league information packet.
Lunch Bunch Nine Hole Women’s League

Thursday New Golfer League
Opening Day: May 2nd, 2013. Plays through September. Open to anyone who is new to the game of golf and who has had some formal instruction. Tee times available from 4 to 6 pm. Participants will have the opportunity to play the course in a relaxed environment while continuing to improve their skills. New Golfer League Members are encouraged to bring friends. Friday Men’s Quota League
Opening Day: April 12th, 2013. Plays through October. 18 Holes. Weekly green fee plus prize entry fee. All level golfers welcome. Quota format played most weeks plus other weekly contests. Great fun! Click HERE for league information & registration packet.
Friday Night Mixed Scramble League
Opening Day: May 10th, 2013. Plays through September. Looking for some fun on Friday nights? This league offers single players and couples the opportunity to play an affordable nine holes of golf together in a relaxed format. Meet new friends, win some prizes and enjoy dinner and drinks in our clubhouse after! New this year…A FREE 20 Minute Instructional Clinic for league members only, beginning at 4:30 pm. Tee times will begin at 5 pm. No need to make a commitment to the entire season. Simply give us a call each week you would like to play and we’ll book you a tee time. Important League Information
Handicap Fee
Most of our leagues require participants to have a Holly Ridge handicap. A handicap allows players of all levels to play on a level field and have an opportunity to win prizes. This is a one-time annual fee ($10). Even if you play in more than one league, you only pay one handicap fee. A Holly Ridge handicap is required to play in other club tournaments throughout the season as well.
Discount Club Card
If you join one or more of our leagues, please consider purchasing our Discount Club Card to save money on green fees. This $59 card will save you $5 off the regular 18 hole rate and $3 off the regular 9 hole rate. You also get 5% back in award dollars on virtually all of your purchases and you can use the awards toward green fees, driving range and merchandise purchases.
Clubhouse Credit
Clubhouse credit can be used for merchandise purchases, driving range tokens, food and bar purchases.
