Holly Ridge Golf Leagues...
Fun, Friendly, For Everyone
Joining a golf league is a great way to meet new people, improve your scores, and increase your overall enjoyment of the game. All of our leagues have the same common goal...To help people have FUN playing golf. It's a great way to meet other golfers and add some socializing to the sport. Our leagues are great for players of all abilities because we use handicaps and fun formats to even the competition.
Monday Women's Nine & Dine League
Plays April through September. Nine Holes. Tee times available from 2:30 to 6:00 pm. $25 Annual League Fee (includes $10 Annual Handicap Fee). $31 weekly fee ($28 for Holly Ridge Discount Club Card holders) includes 9 holes, prizes, and dinner. Fun and relaxing - no pressure. Fun games every week. Clubhouse Credit given out for prizes. End-of-season banquet.
Tuesday Men's League
Play begins in April. Tee times available 6:00 to 10:00 am. Participants in this league may play later in the day, if desired, after 3 pm, first come, first served, but must be accompanied by another member of the league. All level golfers welcome. Eighteen holes. $10 annual handicap fee. $4 weekly entry fee plus green fee. Play with your own group or if you're a single or twosome, we'll pair you up. The weekly game gives every golfer a chance to win Clubhouse Credit prizes.
Junior League
Plays Tuesday afternoons end of June through August. Boys and girls, ages 9 -16 welcome. Tee times begin at noon. $30 annual league fee plus weekly junior green fee. Clubhouse credit given out for prizes. Please note: Juniors must have some previous playing experience. This league is not for juniors who don't know how to play yet.
Wednesday Morning Women's League
Plays April through October. Eighteen holes. Tee times after 7 am. $35 annual dues. $10 annual handicap fee. $3 weekly entry fee plus green fees. Optional $1 weekly birdie pool fee. Weekly tournaments, monthly special tournaments, and annual league championship. Clubhouse credit given out for prizes.
Lunch Bunch Nine Hole Women's League
Plays May through September. $28 weekly fee ($25 for Holly Ridge Discount Club Card holders) includes nine holes, lunch & prizes. $15 Annual League Fee. Tee times begin at 10 am. All level golfers welcome. Fun games.
Wednesday Women's Nine & Dine League
Plays end of April through September. Nine holes. Tee times available 2:30 to 6:00 pm. $25 Annual League Fee (includes Annual Handicap Fee). $31 weekly fee ($28 for Holly Ridge Discount Club Card holders) includes 9 holes, prizes, and dinner. Fun and relaxing - no pressure. Fun games every week. Clubhouse Credit given out for prizes. End-of-season banquet.
Tee Birds Women's League
Plays May through September. Eighteen holes. Tee times available after 7 am. All level golfers welcome. Weekly games. Optional weekly $1 entry fee. Very relaxed and fun.
NEW ! - Men's Nine Hole Match Play League
Begins in May. This is a 9 Hole, round-robin, match play format league. Suitable for all level golfers because handicaps will level the playing field. Tee times available after 4 pm. Nine hole green fee plus prize entry fee. Each league member will go head-to-head with another league member each week until all particpants have played each other. Points will be accumulated for weekly prizes and end-of-season tournament seeding. Lots of FUN !
Thursday New Golfer League
Plays May through September. Open to anyone who is new to the game of golf and who has had some formal instruction. Tee times available from 4 to 6 pm. Participants will have the opportunity to play the course in a relaxed environment while continuing to improve their skills. New Golfer League Members are encouraged to bring friends. Important League Information
Handicap Fee - Most of our leagues require participants to have a Holly Ridge handicap. A handicap allows players of all levels to play on a level field and have an opportunity to win prizes. This is a one-time annual fee ($10). Even if you play in more than one league, you only pay one handicap fee. A Holly Ridge handicap is required to play in other club tournaments throughout the season as well.
Discount Club Card - If you join one or more of our leagues, please consider purchasing our Discount Club Card to save money on green fees. This $59 card will save you $5 off the regular 18 hole rate and $3 off the regular 9 hole rate. You also get 5% back in award dollars on virtually all of your purchases and you can use the awards toward green fees, driving range and merchandise purchases.
Clubhouse Credit - Clubhouse credit can be used for merchandise purchases, driving range tokens, food and bar purchases.
